“Inhale . . . exhale . . . There are two things that really help me to keep on going. The first is a good night sleep and the second is just one whole day for yourself completely free of work, which always clears my mind”, said Irene Nelson to us at the party of her new friend Cassandra Denver. Only close friends were at Cassandra’s Malibu house last night. “It is just like my dream house! Beautiful gardens full of secret corners, perfect for creation. A Buddhist temple and a fire place created a lovely backdrop which goes so well with a good wine, great food and relaxing music. It is a perfect get away after long days of working on the new album. ..It’s about Time, it is almost ready! Actually it is ready, we are just doing the final touches at the studio. Make Up – if I may say so”, smiled Irene.

Just after sunset guests moved to a piano room where Cassandra, at the guest’s request, sang few songs pleasing us with her beautiful voice. After Cassandra sang, she asked Irene to take the seat at the piano. Irene was happy to accommodate us, and we all had the delightful opportunity to hear Irene’s voice live. As Irene sat at the piano, her crystal clear tone . . . distinguished by her fabulous range . . . blended with a piano, and, the audience sat silently in rapt awe listening to this beautiful Russian singer.

Congratulations to the Lakers, they won the championship, 2 years in a row. Irene Nelson now knows how important Basketball is to Americans. They take is so seriously that after winning the championships, the fans loot the city of L.A. like the soccer fans do in Europe. Sorry, L.A. I guess it comes with victories. Hopefully, next year, if the Lakers win, looting will not become a tradition. Irene was able to watch some of the parade on Television, she hopes to go next year, when the Lakers win again. She believes that they will. L.A. is a great city.

Irene Nelson and the team would like to give out all of there support to all of the Soccer teams who made it to the World Cup. So far, it has been an exciting week, lots and lots of Soccer. It can be a distraction at times but regardless of that point, Irene is still concentrating on her music. Taking a glimpse or two is not going to slow Irene down. Good job to all the winners so far.
