The first is a good night sleep and the second is just one whole day for yourself completely free of work, which always clears my mind”, said Irene Nelson to us at the party of her new friend Cassandra Denver. Only close friends were at Cassandra’s Malibu house last night. “It is just like my dream house! Beautiful gardens full of secret corners, perfect for creation. A Buddhist temple and a fire place created a lovely backdrop which goes so well with a good wine, great food and relaxing music. It is a perfect get away after long days of working on the new album. ..It’s about Time, it is almost ready! Actually it is ready, we are just doing the final touches at the studio. Make Up – if I may say so”, smiled Irene.
Just after sunset guests moved to a piano room where Cassandra, at the guest’s request, sang few songs pleasing us with her beautiful voice. After Cassandra sang, she asked Irene to take the seat at the piano. Irene was happy to accommodate us, and we all had the delightful opportunity to hear Irene’s voice live. As Irene sat at the piano, her crystal clear tone . . . distinguished by her fabulous range . . . blended with a piano, and, the audience sat silently in rapt awe listening to this beautiful Russian singer.
